Horseman is a sleepy hollow retelling, I adore the story of Sleepy Hollow so I was intrigued to see Christina Henry’s take on the tale and how she was going to make it darker and I was not disappointed, I was instantly hooked and as always Christina spun the story so that I was taken captive between the pages, stuck in the town of Sleepy Hollow following the events along with our main character Ben who I liked.Ĭhristina Henry’s books are quite scary and this one was gory, personally these things don’t bother me but I know for some it might so steer clear if you’re not keen on those things but it is a fantastic halloween read just like her other novels.
